These terms govern your use of koedesk ("the service"), a speech-to-text service developed by Guide Inc.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using koedesk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

koedesk provides speech-to-text transcription across desktop and mobile platforms. You activate recording, speak, and the transcribed text is made available for use. The service requires an internet connection for transcription processing.

3. Accounts

You may sign in using Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or email via our identity provider (Clerk). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or rate limits
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the service to process audio without the consent of all recorded parties where required by law

5. Intellectual Property

koedesk and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Guide Inc. The transcribed text generated from your audio belongs to you.

6. Subscription Plans

koedesk may offer free and paid subscription plans. Features and usage limits may vary by plan. We reserve the right to modify plan offerings with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that transcription will be error-free or uninterrupted. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, language, and other factors.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guide Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
